Did John make a statement about Ray yet? If so anyone have a link?
I know Robbie made a statement right away. Short and sweet.

When you hear The Doors. Do you hear the 1960's? Or do you hear great music that transcends time?
I hear the latter

The poster is misleading people. Saying it is the DOORS (original band). The poster disabled Dislikes and comment section. Because they know they are lying. Also look at the drum set. It says the doors. Total infringement on the copyright.
I think every one here should flag this video and report them. It is an insult.
A bad clone.

Jim's intentions after Paris

Jim's intentions after Paris?
I know people like Janet have stated that Jim wanted nothing more to do with The Doors. That he was moving on. I always wanted to believe that Jim would someday go back to the band in some shape and form. I feel that Jim was unsure of his future. He made conflicting statements to different people.
For example I re-listened to the Ben Fong Torres interview.
1) Ben Fong Torres interview (February 1971) Jim states that (4:50) they will do a couple of more albums. He also mentions that they are working on the 6th album. "It sounds great." So a couple is 2 or more. So even if he was counting the LA woman album. There is still another album unaccounted for. He also mentions that the band members "will go off on their own for awhile" Goes on to explain what Robbie and John said they wanted to do,
2) March 1971- Jim Fly's to Paris.
3) March 16th - LA Woman Published.
4) Jim called John sometime between March 16th and July 3rd. I would guess sometime in March. Asking about the album sales and telling john he will come back to do a couple of more albums and maybe tour with Jerry Scheff as the bassist.
Now I want to state for the record that I believe Janet and others like her that Jim told them he was done with The Doors.
So my question is why the inconsistency? Was he just unsure?
If so this is why I thought he might go back to the band.
