Couldn't believe my eyes yesterday when I, just before going to sleep, checked television text pages and read the news about Ray's passing away.....Went out of bed again and read the internet articles and listened to some Doors music. Couldn't get back to sleep. And today at work had to think several times about it, really weird feeling. As another Doors chapter has been closed. I can only hope that the Doors legacy will continue to live forever, since Ray was for that matter the true caretaker and gatekeeper to pass this wonderful music to next and future generations....Rest In Peace Ray, you will be missed but definitely never forgotten!!

In Topic: Finally, off to Los Angeles for a Doors tour

Really cool gc1966!! I was lucky to visit L.A. last year and I spent a day on my own since the others didn't want to come with me on my little L.A. Doors tour! I too used the onlide L.A. Doors guide! Really helpful and it guides you through a lot of Doors spots. One of the most memorable days ever, love to walk around where so much music history has been written! And amazing to realize that many spots hardly have been changed, even after 50 (!) years!!!
