About Me

Hey Yall, my name is Jmerizar, I'm coming from Valdosta, GA and I have been a Doors fan since 13, I'm 21 now. I am an anthropologist and artist. I remember hearing "Break on Through" (I had heard it before but I was too young to catch on) and it changed me forever. I have every Doors album including some Live ones and the box set. I am finally going to be getting Live at the Matrix in the mail in a couple of days! Youtube took it off! I have to admit that Jim Morrison is probably the next most influential figure in my life next to my parents and the New Testament "Christ" (that being brought up in a Protestant lower middle-class American household, however I don't claim any particular belief system). Jim seduced me through his poetry, in music (that smooth, brooding bartion voice) and books, and Morrison has continued to shape the context of the reality I percieve. It was Morrison's words that inspired me to explore outside of my own relative box and comfort zones and not fear death. And I want to take this chance to thank Ray, Robbie and John for their gift to the world. For giving Jim a chance! I want to thank Jac Holzman and Paul Rothchild (RIP) for givng these gifted artist a break and opportunity to share with the world something great, spiritual and erotic! I want to thank all of the friends of these individuals who also contributed to the greateness of The Doors, all the muses! And to all the fans who have supported, written, archived, and uploaded information and data so that I may enjoy this experience! [/font]
