That´s it! My dvd arrived. First of all, I apologize for criticizing this release and blaming the management. I must admit the finished product as a whole is spectacular. The sound and video restoration is simply brilliant considering the state of technology back in 68. The new mix comes out of the speakers loud and crisp. Congratulations for the historical extras too, they are a delight to watch. A big thank you to all the  people involved in the generation of this new HB edition.

Well the slipcase is thin, and I guess the best packaging to match is the one of the BM sampler back in 2000. However the artwork is great, going back to the classic format of earlier releases as "In Concert". Pictures are all great.

I finally put my hands on the HB cd. Great packaging, my only complain is the color of the cd itself..come on designers you have been using the same colors and motives since the 40th anniversary mixes! The cd must have been dark blue/black, to match the rest of the packaging. The music has now another dimension on this new mix.Really good job Bruce! I was even tempted to throw away my old HB 87 copy but kept it for historical reasons.  My dvd version should arrive from one minute to another, and as far as I´ve seen, the video quality has been lovingly restored.

????? Releasing projects the Doors already have???? What's your point? Look, you lost this debate 4 postings ago. None of those bands you mentioned have done more in the last decade than the Doors. Fact. Period. End of story. Find another subject.
