k,thought I already told you that stuff? of course we'd want your "ballroom days" printable. Everything is possible, even Morrison fallin' for PK.
You "thought you already told me" what
stuff? What are you babbling about now?
And by the way, who are you to "tell me"
anything except your own warbled opinions? I doubt you were even born yet, back in 1970/1971. Were you?
Finally, Morrison didn't "fall for" PK, ever
(1) She was the editor of Jazz & Pop,
the only music publication (however minor an influence and with a very small circulation) which hadn't joined herd leader Jann Wenner and turned against Jim by 1970/1971;
(2) She had a spectacularly beautiful body, which she flaunted at every opportunity.
Finally, I remember her telling me, sometime during that three weeks she stayed with me in Los Angeles in early 1971, that she'd "rather have a clever enemy than a stupid friend."
She was talking about me, of course, and I remember laughing up my sleeve (as the saying goes) because by that time, in me, she had both: a clever enemy masquerading as a stupid friend.
It's a bitter irony that these days, that psycho is mentioned in the same breath as Pamela, a position she doesn't deserve and has bulled her way into with lies and exaggerations. I don't know who actually deserves second place in Jim's affections*, but it certainly isn't Patricia.
*From what she's posted here, my guess would be that Tex ranks pretty high, but it's been awhile since I've talked to Jim and he didn't talk about his other women anyway, so I have no clue. Sorry...
