Has anyone here heard of this lady?  She seems to have had some interaction with Jim, but precious little is known of her.
At one point, I foolishly thought she was Pam, back when I first saw Dance On Fire in the 80's, sigh.  I know, what an idiot, right.

There is a link to her recollections Peggy Green,
but I am woefully ignorant of any further details....

Here's a shot of her toward the end of L.A. Woman:

I feel if she was in a clip of film shot by Paul or Babe, she must have had some import in Jim's existence, perhaps.
Any info is appreciated, to add to Jim's legacy.  If this has already been covered in other posts, I apologize.

Thanks.

That does sound a bit like the effect that Jim had on people.

Of course Jim makes a dent in your brain! If he didn't make such a dent, then his music wouldn't be working.

Jim would not even be worth listening to if such a thing did not happen upon playing a Doors LP while under the influence of creativity substances.

As important as any other woman of breeding age. To say that she was part of his 'existence' is misleading. Jim existed regardless of her. He was already King Morrison by the time she came along. He remained King long after she was gone.

What could be known of her? Well, she was a woman. She either gave it up to Jim, or kept stringing him along.

Did he write songs for/about her? Not likely since Jim was not the Singer-songwriter type to put his or her personal life into song lyrics.

That Hollywood Hangover site is pretty interesting to me since I share a home town with those ladies (Champaign-Urbana, IL). I didn't know any of them, though, probably because I'm a good 10 years older--and a very, very good ten years it was too. It was a reasonably hip place to spend the mid/late sixties. Avant garde composer John Cage was artist in residence at UIUC* for awhile and organized and staged one of the first "happenings" there in 1965, and with Chicago just a 2-3 hour drive north it was easy enough to drive up for road company versions of Broadway shows, rock concerts, etc.

After the University Assembly Hall--the "Flying Saucer"--was completed we started to get the big rock acts right there in Chambana, including the Stones on their 1969 tour. I was already in NYC by then, so I saw them at funky old Madison Square Garden instead. Posted Image

You're probably thinking of Kathy Lisciandro, Frank's wife, who was The Doors' secretary for awhile.

On edit: I meant she was Frank's wife back in the day; I believe they've since divorced.

Here's a thread from a few years back that mentions Peggy Green as well as several other women Jim was involved with at various times--as well as a couple who exaggerate their time with Jim (Eva Gardonyi) or outright lie about having been involved with him in the first place (Anne Moore).

How many total women was Jim "involved" with?
