Recently we talked about Jimīs mural in Vanice and it reminded me that there is a memorial for him over here in Berlin, Germany. Itīs nothing big or fancy but I think it still is nice to know there is a special place of remembrace for him. The memorial was inaugurated on Jimīs 32nd anniversary, on July 3rd 2003. I saw pictures of it with lots of flowers and presents that people bring for Jimīs anniversaries or birthdays. Jürgen Schuschke whoīs a huge Doors fan and founder of the Berlin Doors fanclub donated the memorial. He also opened a little restaurant named Seelenküche (Soulkitchen) and the place is filled with Doors memorabilia.

Some of you may have seen the stamp that was issued for Jim in Germany in 1988 on the Doors homepage.

Can you tell us where in Berlin this very nice memorial can be found? Thanks!
When I met Hendrix we just talked about the weather. When I met Jim Morrison we sat around looking at girls’ legs and discussing who had the best ass.

I was there exactly a year earlier! Weird. Oh well, just another thing to visit one day.
The Down, Across & Up DVD is now available. It is a multi-region DVD. The DVD and book are available through our website.
