It's not Saturday Night Live. It's The Late Show with Jimmy Fallon.

Fallon is a master impressionist, his Neil Young and Bob Dylan impersonations are also dead on.  The song he did as Neil Young with Bruce Springsteeen was hilarious

I canīt see what the big fuss is about.

A dude impersonating other people, come on. Itīs so old.

Why doesnīt he do original stuff himself?

That was brilliant: Neil's spacey earnestness applied to the utter banality that is Willow Smith's Whip My Hair.

I love Fallon's Barry Gibb impression too, even tho it's nothing like Barry.

He did a good job.  Jimmy Fallon has clearly studied Jim during Light my Fire on Ed Sutherland.   I think he should come back as bearded Jim for the next one.  Two thumbs up Jimmy.

When I met Hendrix we just talked about the weather. When I met Jim Morrison we sat around looking at girls’ legs and discussing who had the best ass.

lmao - I can't believe I said that.  Thanks for setting me straight.

I got a kick our of "Densmore" punctuating Jimmy's poetic rambling midway through the song with a 3 or 4 second percussive exclamation point.  I forgot to give credit to the musicians' impressions.  They should have zoomed in on the guitarist to see if he had the "thinking about my goldfish" facial expression.  I forgot to check if "Ray" was doing the "I'm in musical ecstasy right now" head nods.  Even the fadeaways between instruments was reminiscent of what you see in the Doors videos.

I'll go with Sutherland..... the senior one.

Us artists can't watch Saturday Night Live due to that writer of their's creating all that pro-Liberal controversy a few months back regarding Trump running for President. He was acting like a smug Liberal and SNL kept him on the writing staff despite the calls for his removal.

The Boycott of SNL would include not watching any pretend-Doors stuff on there.

I read what you wrote and then looked at your avatar and thought, "you sound like your avatar!"

Fallon nailed it. He did some good work.
