Its about about as subtle as a sledgehammer. Skaters are young and cool + The Doors = New young cool fans!

I'm not that keen on the skateboarding thing, but I understand that the organization would like to reach some of the young people who may not yet be into classic rock and the Doors, so a good way to bring some in.  Me, I like to see "Doorstown" as it was back when they were there, getting the ball rolling.
