For many years I´ve wanted to see The Doors categorized in the same league as
Jimi Hendrix
Led Zeppelin
The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Deep Purple
The Beach Boys
The Rolling Stones
and many others much inferior artists, whose albums have been written out in full score: The drums, the guitar, the keyboards, the vocals.

Yep, I agree. But, as a keys player, I do enjoy the fun of working out the organ parts for myself.
There was a book out some years ago (The Doors Rock Score) which has the full parts for about 6 songs or so, but everything else out there is pretty poor.

You could work the parts out yourself, but it has more to do w/ status.
The Doors´ legacy deserves transcribed scores.
But the japanese market that always go its sweet on way, has already published two books for selected songs w/ full transcription.
