Well, we’re all in the cosmic movie, you know that! That means the day you die, you gotta watch your whole life recurring eternally forever, in Cinemascope, 3-D. So you better have some good incidents happenin’ in there... and a fitting climax!"
– Jim Morrison, introducing ‘Been Down So Long’ at Cobo Arena, Detroit Michigan, May 8, 1970
Poor Jim, having to watch his life over and over. I hope he didn't accidentally tune into the Oliver Stone movie.
I don't believe anyone will ever find him. Except perhaps a select few. He made sure of that promise. He told me this and I have seen him in my dreams in a far away land. And he is at peace and he has been able to understand many things that at one time seemed perplexed. Time has a way of granting new visions so seems at least what I have viewed for Jim.
I do love that line he says though about your life as a movie! I've heard a different version of it, where he left out the cinescope and 3-d part, so it was cool to read that! I'll have to look for the song! I think I have a few Cobo arena tunes.
It is almost like he could see the future, b/c after all he did have a movie made about his life!
Anyway, hi Texasky....hope you are well!
