Maybe this is common knowledge but yesterday while Itunes was on shuffle Wilson Pickett's "Don't Fight It" came on and it starts with "There you sit, all by yourself, everybody's dancing, can not help themselves..." Morrison often sang these lines after the organ solo during Break On Through in concert. He does it in Danbury, CT, Winterland '67, Chicago '68, Boston '68, etc. I always thought it was something he made up but turns out he was quoting Pickett. Just when you think you know everything about the Doors...
