Found this online.  I have never heard the beginning part with Jim.  I don't think it is Jim later on in the recording.  Anyway, not sure if it is a rare find, but thought you may enjoy it!

Not rare, three poems from the March 69 poetry session.

MOONSHINE NIGHT

Moonshine night
Mt. Village
Insane in the woods
in the deep trees
Under the moon
Beneath the stars
They reel & dance
The young folk
Led to the Lake
by a King & Queen
O, I want to be there
I want us to be there
Beside the lake
Beneath the moon
Cool & swollen
dripping its hot
liquor
SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

FROZEN MOMENT BY A LAKE

Frozen moment by a lake
A Knife has been stolen
The death of the snake
I know the impossible sea
when the dogs bark
I am a death bird
Naughty night bird

SEARCH ON, MAN

There's a belief by the
Children of Man which states
all will be well
Search on man, calm savior
Veteran of wars incalculable
greed. Search on man, calm savior
God-speed & forgive you
morning-star, fragrant
meadow person girl

Thanks for the poems!  I knew they were not rare, but I have never heard them spoken by Jim before.  I least I don't think I have.

I knew I couldn't get anything by all the hardcore Doors fans!  :D  I knew someone would have information!

Thanks for telling us about this, Queen. Wow, Sinead and Bono are on that same track with Jim. I'm more leery of the contributions from Sting's wife (who admits she cannot sing in tune; maybe she's just shaking a maraca or something) and Robert Downey, Jr. I know some people like his singing, but I find him mannered and forced. To each his own and all that.

Is Jonathan Elias the same guy who did that Song for the Americas (I think it was called) back in 1990? It's a similar concept, using different artists and a sound sample of Jim saying "Search on, man." That project was also to benefit Native Americans IIRC.

Nice.

Sounds like stuff from the lost paris tapes.

Not too into the stuff played behind it.
