I would like to know how many copies of the 40th Anniversary were sold.  I think that would go a long way in yielding the future of this year's releases.  I downloaded the release because I believed that it was the same remaster - I was wrong and would've bought the cd if I had known.  If the numbers for L.A. Woman were low, management might feel that future hard releases are not economically viable.

If the sellings were not good I believe there's still some room for a digital release.

Speaking for myself for me the two items I most want for the rest of this year of The Doors is the LAW 3CD set/digital and The London Fog.

I can understand that the release of HBowl is probably being strongly considered given it's the only full concert (since Isle of Wight seems a dead end business agreement and apparently nothing happens regarding Roundhouse) but frankly for me the release priorities should be (1) LAW; (2) London Fog; (3) Matrix; (4) HBowl. My 2 cents.

My feeling is that the best that we can hope for is a digital release of the L.A. Woman material and a hard release of the Matrix combined with the Fog at Christmas.  I know that this is to the ire of many, but it just makes economic sense to combine the Fog with the Matrix - HB would be great but not my preference as many of the songs and performances are already available - All the best - Glen

I entirely agree with you Destouches.
I only have my doubts about your guesses about this year's releases.
Concerning this forum I learned here to say little and post carefully. I do post a lot on another Doors forum in which the average knowledge about this band is far superior. There are obviously other aspects that make some difference.
This forum is a shadow of what it used to be some 4-5 years ago. I don't think it's because of the economic crisis or the fact we are getting too old to be able to look to a computer screen. Gotta be something else.

I have a feeling ol' Jeff has his hands full right now, and not just with the Doors. I think his company has taken on some more clients. He handles the Joplin estate also, as you can see. Good luck, Jeff! Just don't forget us "little" people.... We're still here and we want it ALL! Heh....
p.s. I almost feel like we're losing interest in the "delayed" 3 cd set of all the L.A. Woman outtakes. I'm just sayin'.....

I haven't lost interest, but in my opinion the outtakes should take a back seat to the other proposed releases including the reissue of Hollywood Bowl.
