That's right. When the answers to your questions allude you, look to Guns N' Roses. Axl is there for you. :)

If you prefer. Although I admire him for making a statement about democracy in China in the context of, in my opinion, a kick-ass song. I guess we should probably leave this one there before The Doors police come and have us arrested for posting about Guns N' Roses in a Doors thread.

Listen here, kids!

You donīt have to play anymore here. The grown-ups know what you want to see released.

Maybe it will be released!- We donīt know, yet!

Just keep on playing with your legotoys in the cribs and playpens and we will take care of business.

It's amazingly ironic seeing you accuse others on here of being kids. Your posts are, without fail, always the most immature, unhelpful and needlessly provocative.

Happy L.A. Woman Release Day! On this day in 1971, L.A. Woman was released. Jeff, to commemorate this special occassion, it would be wonderful to get an update on the proposed 3 disc set or anything else proposed for the Year of The Doors. Thanks in advance, and have a wonderful L.A. Woman Release Day! :)

L.A. Woman was released in Los Angeles April 20, 1971. Not a day sooner. I'm one of the 1st generation Doors fans who was there for all the glory, the first time around. One of my fond memories in my life is remembering the days that new Doors albums were released back then. I dated them on the inside of the sleeve when I got them. I called all the record stores weeks in advance of releases. So I especially remember calling all the stores the few days before the album came out. They all got it on April 20th. Couldn't wait to run there, see the cover for the first time. The cool rounded corners. What I thought was a chintzy looking cellophane picture of the band which I assumed would peel off or be destroyed if I wasn't careful putting the record into the sleeve. Hearing The WASP for the first time and not liking "the talking parts"... Lol... Hearing Riders On The Storm, Changeling and L.A. Woman on the radio the week before the album came out, and not thinking it sounded like the Doors.

April 20th, 1971.

So I guess it was an unintentional April Fool's Day joke on my part. Thanks JADW.

April 20th, 1971.

That is very interesting, as everything I have read has stated 1 April as the release date.

I thought it was April 29, 1971. But if JADW has the date written on his original record sleeve, then I'd take his word for it.
