ok, i finally got a refund for the part of the shipping of the digipack.

use rhino as front store could be a good idea.

To be honest i think that Music today need to be ditched completly, and that a partner who does not charge $12 to $15 for interntional shipping (Amazon.com chareg $6) on a CD doubling the cost to the UK, for many products needs to be chosen.

My heart sank for exactly the same reason when Authentic hendrix moved to Music today and the cost of postage became more than the CD. with no other choice but to buy from them.

As for customer service its non existant from international callers.

Why not partner someone who has bases in more than one continent ? it will increase sales when you are not being ripped for postage.

Any April Record Store Day exclusives coming from the Doors in 2012?  Could be LAW, Workshop, 3cd outtakes, Matrix, Fog or "Year of the Doors" related.

Doors have done RSD(& RSB Black Friday) exclusives with the WYS single, ROTS mono single(s), LAW singles box and debut mono vinyl individual release.

"Artisan News":

Check out Kreiger's "Doors" shirt(in HD and full screen).  I'm sure it's some custom version and not anything mass produced/licensed.

A short review for the LA WOMAN 40 th ANNIVERSARY.
It{s really a nice take on the original album. The band is really playing live in the studio, so the songs resembled to me the ones that can be heard on the Dallas bootleg, but with Jim much more in a good mood, which of course is the fundamental thing. Ray seems quite inspired and the bass work is also very good. I wonder why there is so little tape evidence for Hyacinth House, since it{s one of my all time favorite Doors songs.
The package is the low point of the release. Many pictures already released and nothing but the liner notes of Fricke to explain the context of the album. The booklet is impossible to remove without bending the slipcase...please reconsider the package system for once Jeff! They get easily damaged  after a short time. The original BMR sampler was to me the best single cd packaged release.
Anyway, I´ve enjoyed this new version of LA WOMAN a lot, thanks.
Bring back the Q&A thread!

It would be super awesome to hear something about these releases soon since there is about 10 months left in the Year of The Doors and 4 releases tentatively scheduled to be released during that time frame.

To Jeff or anyone else out there:

In the Been Down so Long/Miami effect of the Mojo Risin, there is some b/w footage of some concert including some riots. Is that MSG 69? Or even Miami itself? I know Miami was not filmed, but a while ago a source here in the boards confessed me some footage existed indeed.
thanks.

A simultaneous release of The London Fog and The Matrix. That would be wonderful. Bring it on.
