[beautiful friend]

Saludos a todos, no estoy seguro de si este tema en particular ya ha sido abordado en el foro en español (solo he visto unos pocos comentarios en el foro en inglés), supongo que muchos aquí ya habrán escuchado algo sobre la famosa "Woman in the Window", canción a capella que Jim Morrison dejó grabada en 1970.  No tengo mucha más información acerca del por qué dicha grabación no fue divulgada antes.  
Resulta que en el 2007 Perry Farrell (famoso por Jane's Addiction) y ahora con su nuevo grupo llamado "Satellite Party", obtuvo el permiso de la banda para agregarle un fondo musical a la grabación a capella de Morrison.  La canción aparece en el disco "Ultrapayloaded" -el único de Satellite Party hasta el momento- y además, fue utilizada como parte de una campaña ambientalista llamada "Global Cool", que tiene el objetivo de llamar la atención sobre el calentamiento global y reunir fondos para esta causa.  Esta campaña fue apoyada públicamente por un buen número de celebridades, John Densmore incluido.  
Pero bueno, supongo que tal vez algunas personas aquí todavía no la conocen, así que abajo pueden encontrar los links para ambas versiones (a capella y con música).  
No es necesario resaltar lo increíble que es semejante hecho.. es una canción de Jim Morrison dada a conocer casi 40 años después de grabada!!!!! Supongo que cada quien tendrá que vivirlo a su manera y decidir si Farrell le hizo justicia a Jimbo o no.  Por favor comenten todo lo que puedan!  Saludos a todos desde Costa Rica.
