Ok. Let me get this straight.
Keeping it alive by constant bashing, with a childish attitude. Yeah, that's a fun board to be a part of.
Your signature reads that you're waiting fo any release. Well, now you've been confirmed two: Matrix complete and the Felt Forum box. What's the point of rubbing in the "We seek more answers!"
Remember, we're just guests here in this board.

As I'd like to do it, it will be a limited edition, numbered box with gold CDs mastered by Steve Hoffman or Bruce Botnick. Or both. But none of that has been signed off on yet.

Great.
Is the unheard piece going to be included too Jeff? From what I remember from the discussions on the boards it was instrumental?

Curious if the names of the 2 uncirculating jam instrumentals on the March 7 1967 tape have been determined? If so, could you share the names of those 2 songs with us?
The jams occur between "Soul Kitchen" and "Get Out of My Life Woman."
Thanks!
Here's how James Healey, Peter's friend, described the jams when he and Peter Abram listened to the master tapes in April 2009, shortly before sending them to The Doors:
Peter wanted to give one final listen to all four tapes before he sent them off, but there wasn't much time to stop and go back to check things. If they do indeed issue the complete Matrix tapes as promised, I think you will find these instrumental jams interesting.
Cheers,
James

Jeff, does this mean that the new matrix release would not have the same distribution pāttern than the last BMA releases like Pitts, matrix, boston? People outside the US also want the matrix masters. I bought the BMA release cause i couldnīt even get it on bootleg, but Iīm far more interested in hearing teh master tapes. Pleasejeff try to make this a regular edition or at lesat try to guarantee a worldwide distribution.
cheers

Just out of curiosity, is the Matrix release that is currently on the store shelves (Live At The Matrix '67) going to be recalled any time soon? Or are you going to use the same track listing, artwork, etc. and use the master source for future pressings of it, making there be a sampler edition and a complete box set of the shows available to fans? Regarding the complete Matrix shows being limited edition gold CDs; will they be out of print indefinitely after they have all sold out, or will the complete Matrix shows have a non-limited edition standard (non-gold) CD release as well?
