How many and which songs played the Doors at Sullivan's show?

Alojan dos rancheras.  "Gente Son Extrano" et "Ligero Mi Fuego" en Sullivan.
I think it's a bunch of bullshit, myself.

They mentioned Jim in a radio sketch the other day. They were like why can't all poets have a beard, unkempt hair and the surname Morrison. It wasn't very funny.

Does anyone remember the sci-fi show Dark Skies?

There is a whole episode where Jim shows up and he is still in film school and he helps the shows main characters foil some alien plot(its kinda like the x-files but set in the sixties). For the entire episode he is only referred to as Jim but at rhe end the film he is making is shown and the last shot is of Venice Beach and a piece of wood washes up that has Jim Morrison carved into it. Sounds corny but it is actually really cool.

I just watched a movie called 'Flicka' with Tim McGraw in it. Took place in the country ranches out in the midwest somewhere. Funny thing is in the first half hour or so of the movie, one of the main characters was wearing a Doors tee with a HOT pic of Jim! It was pretty cool!

Also, a while ago I saw a commercial for the new program Drive, and they used the new Roadhouse Blues (Crystal Method Remix)

On the TV Series "Cold Case" , i don't remember which episode but, it was an episode where a kid grows to be a serial killer, and he's listening to "Riders On The Storm" on his room. I kinda noticed that in a lot of cases The Doors music are associated with kinda dark characters.

In the movie Dream of an Insomniac they quote Jim from 'Wilderness'...after David says it, Frankie recognizes it and says,  "Morrison, Jim".
I am troubled
Immeasureably
By your eyes

I am struck
By the feather
of your soft
Reply

The sound of glass
Speaks quick
Disdain

And conceals
What your eyes fight
To explain

Lol, I couldn't believe it either.

there's also a couple of references on SNL on the "Best Of Adam Sandler" he's doing his character Operan Man and he's telling a story about a dream he had or something and I think it was Norm Macdonald who asks him "who did you meet in hell" and Adam says "Jim Morrison" and also Kristen Wiig had a Doors' shirt on during a sketch.
