If one was to pick a woman to mentor Jim, through the rigors of show business and what it could do to destroy you and teach him how to avoid it I would probably want to chose someone who had dealt with all the things Jim did (drugs = alcohol (alcohol is a drug), adulation, the inevitable swelled head that goes with the meeting of new fame head on, multiple sexual experiences, a difficult life filled with glory and sorrow, fair weather friends, etc.) and survived to live to a celebrated old age, I would have introduced him to Lana Turner. She would have been able to point out the pitfalls to Jim, better than anyone else I knew.

FYI, I knew Brian and I met Chris Jagger. Neither one was enamoured of Mick. Mick wasn't at that time in his life a very nice human being, unless he had something to gain from knowing you. Once he got it, he dropped you like a losing ticket at the track. As for drug abuse, he did that too.
