I have noticed a scene in the end. The members of the doors recieve a copy of Jim's "An American Prayer" at the birthday party. This have made me wonder if a copy of it can be required somewhere? You are the experts.. Have you knowledge of such copies?
Is everybody in?
Is everybody in?
Is everybody in?
The ceremony is about to begin.

As a great fan of Jim Morrison and The Doors in general, I have been watching the film "The Doors" by O. Stone very closely.

500 copies for An American Prayer.
You're thinking of The Lords & The New Creatures which were 100 copies for each.

Thanks.. Its was nice to get that straighted out, though it wasnt the best of news:-( Hehe.
Anyway, I think i might buy a re-printed copy, just for kicks.
I wonder if Jim would have wanted it this way.. 500 very rare copies or thousands of wide spread copies of his poetry? We'll never know... and allways..

the private editions are obviously very rare and valuable, but all of the poetry Jim privatley published was later published by mainstream publishers, so it's not like the poetry itself isn't available, obviously no one can know what Jim's intentions were with the privatley published books, but he mainly gave them out to friends

the blue one isn't all that rare, I bought a copy for $60 a couple years ago, Simon and Schuster published it after Jim had his private copies printed
