But that´s not the truth sorry. What happens is that when you go to the courtyard you can see there are another entrances to other stairs that doesn’t have the same security that the door that leads to Morrison´s apartment have,  that is: they are easy to get in they are not even locked.

I got in one of them also, besides the one that matters.

It´s not difficult to figure out what happened: someone managed to get into Rue Beautreillis 17 and because it was not possible to get to the stairs that lead to Morrison´s apartment: they were locked; they got into the “easy” stairs in the courtyard and took the photograph there.

Maybe it was a mistake, maybe it was an easy way to get fake photos to show anyway.
What do you think it was?

Anything you talked about is basically right. If you enter the front door of the house on street level, in front is the entrance to the "garden". On the left side is a two shield door, on the right side as well.

Left side of the building is Rue Beautreillis 17 (where Jim lived), Right side is Rue Beautreillis 19 (out of question). Directly at the entrance, on the left, there is a stair upwards, which I believe led to Jim's appartment. But this stair has at least double of the width than shown in the pictures. Maybe further up, the stair gets smaller. But I respected the people who lived there, who were saying politely "Bon jour" to me, although I just was spying around, therefore I didn't go upstairs.

Jim definitely lived in the front side of the building, meaning if you stand on the Rue Beautreillis and look up the house wall, you can see the windows of his apartment.

Assuming that the pictures are actually of this certain house, the door photographed is actually a door of Rue Beautreillis 19 (!!) and therefore not the door to Jim's apartment.

Then should be added that the French way of counting Etages (floors) is the way: Street level = Parterre. One stair up is first etage (floor), two stairs up is second etage... Jim lived three stairs up, which is, as I believe, not the american way of "third floor".

The description of the real place is like this:

You enter through the big front door at Rue Beatreillis 17 and to the right there is a door that´s locked you can see through the windows of this door that there is a stair the double big than those in the pictures(thanks hg5), and there is an elevator also.

When you are going up through the stairs in the walls there are ornaments that kind of windows that have colors in it: stained-glass window.

The apartment doors are IN FRONT of the stairs and there are only two apartments in every floor one to the left and one to the right(the same that Raisson says).
The doors are completely different that those in the pictures there  is:a DOUBLE DOOR in every apartment.

The whole place is more luxurious than your pictures, the doors are double and the apartments are IN FRONT of the stairs: one double door to the left and one double door to the right.

OK this is my last message in this thread. I said the truth I said what I saw in the REAL place and I think anyone who read the thread from the beginning understand who are telling the truth here and who are lying.

You can continue insulting all you want because I´m not reading your childish insults anymore. Anyone who gets in there is going to know I was telling the truth and that´s enough for me.

the place in the photos is of jim's apartment building ...end of! i have been there four times...why the fuck would people wanna lie about this?? his apartment is on the left hand side of the building....you can see the windows from the street. therefore, with logic, one would tend to go up the stairs on the LEFT to get to his apartment. the stairs are those stairs in the photo, the door in the photo was jim's door. its not hard!! you are a delluded fool my friend and need to sort your fucking head out.
if you really want to, why not go there next july 3rd and meet up with all the other liars that make a pilgrimage there, me included and try fucking telling them that they are pointing and taking pictures of the wrong fucking apartment. I may not remember correctly if the stair up to the first etage is on the left side when you enter the front door, coming from Rue Beautreillis. But the width of the stair is about double as big as on the pictures, and it was dark brown for sure. And yes, you are rigth, the door to Jim's appartment is indeed a DOUBLE DOOR. Someone showed me a picture once sometime in the mid 1980's, taken in there for sure. It was a dark brown double door. But the guy who took the picture said he wasn't sure if he was on the correct floor. From his description I  remember that he was in the second etage, not in the third. But he said the doors look one and the same on every floor, so it would not matter if he was on the wrong floor. Also I remember the place not as bright as in the pictures, pretty dark. But as I said, I was only in the parterre.

I have no doubt that the ones who took the pictures BELIEVE it is the correct door, but really, there is strong doubt about it.

yes dudes, that is indeed jim's gaff. and you do indeed go up the stairs on the left to get to it. unless your that dude abyssssssomethingorother who would have all the motherfuckers who visit the place believe you have to go up stairs on the right to get to an apartment on the left. but of course he is obviously correct and we are all indeed big fat hairy liers with nothing better to do than lie about which apartment jim lived in.....i may aswell lie about my cock size too!!! its a massive 4 inchs!!! put that in yah pipe and smoke it.....

Okay, one more explanation. The building in the picture is the correct one and the correct floor is marked, and the correct side (left from the front door). From the police documents I understand that on each floor are two appartments on the left side (Rue Beautreillis 17) and two apartments on the right side (Rue Beautreillis 19). So when you are in the stairway (which I understand is the same for 17 and 19) on each floor are 4 doors. Jim's appartment for sure had at least one window leading to the backyard. Therefore I think it is possible that Jim's appartment had no windows to the front side of the building, overlooking the Rue Beautreillis. Jim's door is described as being the right one. That means the left door (Rue Beautreillis 17) is located towards the front side of the building, the right door is located towards the backside of the building.

If the window on the stairs shown in the picture leads to the backyard of the building, then the door would be located correctly, as in the description above. But if the window leads to the front side of the building (meaning if you look out the window you see the Rue Beautreillis), then the door in the pictures is not located correctly.

But it is sure as hell that the stairway at least to the first etage is on the front side of the building, not on the back side. Means if you look out of the window in the stairway you see the Rue Beautreillis, not the backyard.

The guy who showed me the picture is Iain G. Boyack from Dundee and for sure he has not lied to me. And on his picture there was a double door! This has nowhere been mentioned before.

the dudes that took the other photos certainly didnt see no double doors anywhere. i also believe they new it was jims apartment because of the number 17 on the door.... :lickit:
