Are there any photos from inside the apartment where Jim died, or the bathtub he died in? If not, does anyone know what the apartment is used for, OR if that very tub still is there?

Hell, everyone has a bit of morbid curiosity about the place........
folks go to Lizzie Borden's house why not Jim's apartment too?

The place is used for the same purpose as it was in 1971....somebody lives in it.....and I doubt that the same bathtub will be there after 35 years...probably a shower now......maybe someone managed to steal it during a renovation or maybe it just ended up in a skip.....
Snakey and Mark (Holy Sha66) got inside on the evening of the 4th back in 2002...(I missed getting in by about 10 minutes) and took these pix......

Somewhere on this board I read that the original bathtub is long gone. It was disposed of when the apt. was renovated.

I would'nt mind betting that either the tub was taken out directly after the event or the next tenants did not know that someone had died in it.  Not that it really matters, people die in homes all the time and it has little or no effect on the ambience of the place.

    hmmm sorry man,  but i think you should have been 10 minuts earlier to be sure. Because I was there in 2004 and the place, the stairs and the doors had nothing to do with the pictures....
don´t think they changed the whole place in 2 years but maybe...

What I´m saying is that those pictures are from another place NOT from Jim Morrison´s apartment door/stairs.

You can choose to believe those are the right pictures but I know there aren´t because I was there.

you enter trough the big door then,  what do you do to get to the stairs?

you go through the big door and go up the stairs, its not hard mate....they are on the left. the bloke who posted those pictures was there....he is the source of all tings doors....that was jims apartment door??? if it wasnt then where was it?????????????????????????????????? jesus chrust get over yourself!
