I think a lot of the negativity was caused by the legal issues themselves. Perhaps as we all pull ourselves up by the bootstraps and stop to renew ourselves,this will be a vehicle to break down the walls of disharmony and open the Doors to a new reunion.

is anyone else kind of embarrased for themselves and this board becuase it was so bad that the doors themselves got sick of it? its too bad that the doors finnaly send us a message here themselves, and becuase of some of the member's behavior here, it has to tell us to behave. hopefully next time they send us a message we wont gve them a reason to try to get us to stop doin something, and that it will be a fully positive one.

I've been posting here for about a year now and I have had the chance to meet people and forge friendships that I would not have been able to do without The Doors paving the way.

To be fair, I've personally noticed that since that letter from them first came out, communication on the board is a lot more pleasant. It's a pleasure to post here and I have a tremendous amount of respect for those I've connected with, whether we were in agreement or not.

personally i can totall y see where the doors are coming from, and whilst i appreciate them taking the time to put their message across - i think its absolutely appauling and pathetic that they were forced to do so.

I havent posted in here for around a year now because of the general mediocrity and absolute neglect of decency and common sense on here. The doors would do well to be shot of this place if they want an easier life. People treat them and their managers like pets...like dancing monkeys...and its disgusting. These guys are our living heros, and they are treated like this?

a good decision, i couldn't agree more. the LIZARD LOUNGE has provided me with a place to start over as far as message forums are concerned. furthermore, the idea of lifting the ban for some former members, on the basis that they'll play nice hence forth, says a lot about the positive direction they want the message board to move in...

I think this message board is really fantastic....offering the opportunity to share all your Doors knowledge with members all across the world!!!!!! The band isn't performing anymore for more then 35 years and look how many members visit this board!!! I'm amazed!!!!!!  :bravo:
